About Space Economy Intel

Space Economy Intel is a Chinese-language site tracking the global commercial space industry. This English edition covers one slice of that work: China’s commercial space sector — launch companies, satellite makers and constellation operators — compiled from Chinese-language primary sources such as STAR Market IPO filings, company announcements and named domestic media, which are rarely available in English in a structured form.

We cover the space economy, which includes both private companies and state buyers — launches, procurement and industrial policy from government and state-owned enterprises alongside private-company funding, launches, contracts and failures. Every figure is sourced, and facts are kept separate from our own commentary. See the Methodology page for the rules.
