Metrics
Coverage and timeliness, read live from the database. Timeliness counts only items published through the daily workflow, excluding historical items backfilled at launch.
Coverage
Timeliness
Median lag by window (hours). “Source → us” is how long after the source published we published; “Us → event” is how far our publication trails the event itself.
| Window | n | Source → us | Us → event |
|---|---|---|---|
| Last 7 days | 0 | — | — |
| Last 30 days | 12 | 19.5 h | 39.0 h |
| All time | 18 | 22.0 h | 47.7 h |
Lags are still higher than we want. Candidates used to be published first-in-first-out, which kept fresh items queued behind older ones; publishing is now ordered by source publication time, newest first. Older windows still carry the previous queue's lag, so short-window numbers should keep falling.
Pipeline (candidate queue): queued → published measures the editorial step, separate from collection.
