LandSpace Zhuque-2E Y4 puts 10 satellites into orbit
LandSpace launched the Zhuque-2E Y4 rocket from the Jiuquan Satellite Launch Center at 20:40 Japan time on 14 October 2026, placing 10 satellites into their planned orbits: eight ADA Space Xingshidai satellites and two Lanta Intelligence Guangchuan laser-communication satellites.
According to sorae, Chinese private launch company LandSpace launched its Zhuque-2E Y4 rocket at 20:40 Japan time on 14 October 2026 from the Dongfeng Commercial Aerospace Innovation Test Zone at the Jiuquan Satellite Launch Center, placing 10 satellites into their planned orbits.
The payloads were eight Xingshidai satellites (Xingshidai-39 and 44 to 50) and two Guangchuan satellites (Guangchuan-03 and 04). The eight Xingshidai satellites were developed by ADA Space and are the first batch of the second group of its Xingsuan programme. They will test high-performance computing equipment, high-speed inter-satellite and satellite-to-ground laser links, and large radiator panels in orbit.
The two Guangchuan satellites, developed by Lanta Intelligence, are for laser communication experiments, testing high-speed laser links through large-aperture optics, a communication module that selects routes by data destination, and new solar arrays.
Zhuque-2E is a two-stage methane-LOX rocket with a LEO capacity of 6 tonnes and 4 tonnes to a 500 km sun-synchronous orbit. On its second launch in July 2023, the Zhuque-2 series became the first methane-LOX rocket in the world to reach orbit.
This was the 10th flight of the Zhuque-2 series, about a month after the previous Y7 launch (15 September 2026, Japan time).
