Geespace时空道宇

LEO satellite IoT constellation (Geely Future Mobility Constellation); satellite manufacturing (Taizhou super-factory); satellite communications chips and terminals

Geespace was founded in 2018 as the commercial space arm of Geely Holding Group, succeeding OKO Space founded in 2014; its CEO is Wang Yang, its headquarters are in Xuhui District, Shanghai, and it is registered in Zhejiang. The company builds and operates a LEO satellite constellation, mass-produces satellites and develops satellite communications chips, modules and terminals, with a satellite super-factory in Taizhou, Zhejiang, with capacity for 500 satellites a year. Its Geely Future Mobility Constellation is a LEO IoT communications constellation; on 24 September 2025 a 12-satellite launch from waters off Rizhao, Shandong, completed the sixth orbital plane and phase-one deployment, bringing the constellation to 64 satellites in orbit including test satellites and providing real-time coverage of the Earth's surface except the poles; phase one is planned at 72 satellites, which the company intends to complete in 2026. As of November 2025 it had signed cooperation agreements with telecom operators in more than 20 countries across the Middle East, Africa, Southeast Asia, South Asia, Central Asia and Latin America. On 19 September 2025 it received RMB 2 billion in strategic funding from the Zhejiang new-energy-vehicle industry fund and others. In June 2026 it announced a full-stack open-source ecosystem plan for its LEO communications constellation at MWC Shanghai, and in August 2026 it received approval from the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology for a two-year commercial trial of satellite IoT services. Media reports say the company plans to pursue an IPO by the end of 2026.
