Second-generation reusable liquid launch vehicles (Hujian-1)

Jianqi Technology (Shanghai Jianqi Technology Co., Ltd.) was founded on 9 January 2026, according to Taibo's company page and EqualOcean. According to a Commercial Space Development report republished by Future Phecda, it was incubated by OneSpace Technology and operates independently; its legal representative is Shu Chang, and it opened in Jiuting Town, Songjiang District, Shanghai on 1 April 2026. The company develops reusable liquid launch vehicles. It describes its Hujian-1, now in development, as "China's first second-generation reusable rocket", and lead investor the Shanghai Future Industry Fund says it focuses on full two-stage reuse; the rocket's dimensions, thrust, payload capacity and maiden-flight date have not been publicly disclosed. On funding, the company announced on 8 October 2026 that it had completed an angel series, saying it had closed seed, pre-angel and angel rounds totalling RMB 200 million (company release republished by several outlets, treated as a single source). The angel round was led by the Shanghai Future Industry Fund with Yuanhe Puhua, Shiji Jinyuan and Bi'an Shidai following; the pre-angel round was led by Chuanxiang Capital with Renjun Capital following. Proceeds go to overall development of Hujian-1 and to building a rocket factory in Shanghai. For the June 2026 investment by Jiulong Supply Chain and Qianyuan Qichen, EqualOcean calls it an angel round while Taibo's company page records it as seed; both accounts are given. The founder's name has not been publicly disclosed.
