GalaxySpace (Beijing) Technology Group Co., Ltd. was founded by Xu Ming in 2018 and is headquartered in the Beijing Economic-Technological Development Area. It develops and mass-produces low-Earth-orbit communications satellites and SAR remote-sensing satellites, along with core components such as spaceborne phased arrays and millimetre-wave antennas. Its smart satellite factory in Nantong, Jiangsu, has a capacity of 100 to 150 medium-sized satellites per year. As of August 2026 the company had launched 49 self-developed satellites and has independently built several batches of satellites for China SatNet's GW constellation. On 25 August 2026 its Lingzhi-09 cubesat for Thailand rode a Long March 6C to orbit and was delivered to Thailand's GISTDA, the first whole-satellite export by a Chinese private satellite maker to a Southeast Asian country. On the capital side, the company closed a B++ round in September 2022 at a post-money valuation of RMB 11 billion; in February 2026 it closed a new round (adding Beijing Guorui, Yizhuang Industrial Investment and Bohua Capital) whose size was not disclosed; on 30 March 2026 it filed for A-share listing tutoring with Huatai United Securities as tutor; and in June 2026 its registered capital rose from RMB 51.82 million to RMB 360 million. Founder Xu Ming holds 22.04% directly and indirectly and controls 72.87% of voting rights.

    Three GalaxySpace satellites reach orbit, including first whole-satellite export to Southeast Asia

    A Long March 6C launched seven satellites from Taiyuan on 25 August, including GalaxySpace-built Zhongke-14 and -15 (SAR) and the Lingzhi-09 cubesat for Thailand. The cubesat was delivered to GISTDA for land, agriculture and ecological remote sensing and university teaching.

    GalaxySpace files for A-share listing tutoring with Huatai United Securities

    The CSRC disclosed the tutoring filing for GalaxySpace (Beijing) Technology Group Co., Ltd., with registered capital of RMB 44.38 million; Caixin reported that Beijing Guorui and Yizhuang Industrial Investment joined its latest round in February.

    GalaxySpace closes new funding round with Beijing Guorui, Yizhuang Industrial Investment and Bohua Capital

    Satellite-internet LEO Group 19 launched; satellites built by GalaxySpace

    A Long March 12 launched LEO Group 19 from the Hainan commercial launch site at 15:48 Beijing time on 19 January. GalaxySpace has independently built two consecutive batches of these satellites, which carry its own phased-array and millimetre-wave antennas.
